Words from the Wise

Christine Massa

Jen Orr

I started the experiment purely out of curiosity to see if it would make a difference in my life. I am two years into it the experiment and I can't imagine shutting down my day without completing my mile - sometimes it happens late late at night but no matter what I make it happen. The Mile Experiment has shown me that with a commitment and community, I can do anything!

Running has been a struggle for me for years, so much so that It’s one of the main reasons I decided to “retire” from triathlons and focus on cycling. However, when I saw a post back in 2017 about "The Mile Experiment" and thought why not, things couldn't get worse. Instead the mile experiment became my joy and helped me improve my running pace
